This past weekend I spent four fabulous days on Bald Head Island, NC not only relaxing, but more importantly celebrating a wedding. My best friend Sarah wed to Mr. Ryen Greer. Sarah is more than a friend, she is like a sister to me. We have lived together for the past three and half years in Charleston, SC. We have been there for each other in life's ups and downs in your twenties/post college life. She is a wonderful person with a giving heart and has found someone that brings out the best in her, as well as she does the same for him. I couldn't be more happy for her! I had the pleasure of altering her wedding gown and sewing in the bustle.
Sorry for the delayed post! It is my goal to post more often. My niece Paige was baptized in late April. It was wonderful trip back home to Missouri and spending time with family and friends. The gown was completed the day before the baptism. Nothing like sewing on buttons, thread loops and embroidering the name on the slip at the last minute. In addition to the baptism, we attended a close family friends wedding Saturday evening. This picture to the left was taken at the reception of my beautiful mother, Paige and I. The pearls I am wearing were on loan from my grandmother. Thanks Grandma! Handwork embroidered on the slip
